The ratchet is unlike anything else hanging on a knife lanyard right now–and that's the point.
The outer cylinder walks around the slotted post in precise increments, locking it in each position. About a quarter turn at a time. To unlock, push the cylinder to the opposite end of the post and keep going. Flip it with the slot open in the cylinder it drops by gravity with an audible click. No springs, no hardware, no gimmicks - the entire mechanism is the geometry of the bead itself.
We amke these with high temp glass fiber composite that has a matte, almost oily sheen that catches the light differently from every angle.
Each pack includes both colorways - white with black accents and black with white accents.
